Kirby Brock, who has been retired for many years has remained active in the North Central Valley Chapter, who nominated him because of his years of service both before and after his retirement. Kirby was awarded the Presidents award, by his chapter in both 2008 and 2009.
Dewayne Johnson was the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter nominee. He works for San Mateo County and is the 2017 Chapter President and has served on the chapter board for many years. He was recognized as the Jerry D. Scott Outstanding Superintendent in 2015.
Troy Wittenbrock, who works for the City of Duarte, was nominated by the LA/Orange Area Chapter. Troy was named the 2008 and 2013 Phil Studebaker Member of the Year. Although he was unable to attend the conference, he remains dedicated to serving his chapter.
